PURE WHITE
Enjoying advantageous characteristics and presenting a colour as white as zirconia (white ceramic), this treatment is especially suitable for adorning watch interior parts, such as indexes, appliques, hands, bridges, main plates, oscillating weights, dials, flanges, etc. It emphasizes the purity and perfection of the design of the part.
IS WHITE A COLOUR?
White is not a colour strictly speaking, since it is the “sum” of all the colours.
Snow is composed of millions of crystals of ice, in snowflakes. Taken individually, each snowflake is transparent, since it comprises ice. When this light reaches our eyes, all the colours and shapes have been mixed, and so the snow appears to us as uniformly white, this being the mixture of all the colours.
POSITIVE COATING’s treatment was inspired by this principle, to obtain its famous ceramic white.

BLANC is the fruition of a long process of research & development demonstrating POSITIVE COATING’s constant ability to innovate. Patent-protected, the colour white is obtained thanks to a combination of two different techniques: wet and dry.
Our BLANC (BELUGA-LIKE ADVANCED NANOTEC COATING)* corresponds to the DeCoBLANC treatment of our partner Estoppey-Addor, alongside which we developed and patented this coating.
