COLOR IN THREE DIMENSIONS
The surface finish of the treated parts – polished, brushed, micro-blasted, or according to their decoration engraved, chiselled, or guillochage, Côtes de Genève, circular graining or sunray – will bring an additional ingredient to the color: depth, shine, brightness, reflection, intensity, softness.
The color will exhibit a different vibrancy according to the surface preparation of the component before treatment.

Our integrated research laboratory, Color Lab, enables POSITIVE COATING to constantly develop new colors, while assuring the command and quality of the treatments.

INTERFERENCE COLORS
You will surely have observed those lively, dancing color gradients sometimes found on soap bubbles, for example.
These are due to an interference phenomenon, due to the wave nature of light. With ALD technology, POSITIVE COATING uses this principle, and that is what enables us to offer our customers this wide range of colored coatings.
Interference colors depend on the thickness of the layers applied: they follow a color gradient sequence (yellow, orange, magenta, violet, blue, cyan, green, …).
